A mistreated orphan boy runs away with the circus to fulfil his ambition to become a clown. He is pursued by a cruel housemistress who wants to return him to the orphanage.

A feature-length animation based on a published short story for children. The script began in the USA through workshops with Lew Hunter (Hollywood Screenwriter, producer and lecturer at UCLA).

Circus Boy Awards:

2018 Preliminary Finalist in the Comedy Category of the Creative World Awards. The organisers have stated that they ‘saw more talent come through this season than ever before’, making the achievement all the greater.

2018 Top 10% (of nearly 7,000 scripts) in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship competition. This is a really important competition as the Academy is directly linked to the Oscars that take place in January each year.
